Charles Hamilton- Loser

The New Coolest Cartoon Competition.

For a while cartoons went through a droubt. During which a lot of people complained (mostly thru youtube), asking where the good old cartoons of the 90's went. well it seems like cartoons are having a renaissance with the surfacing of a few new and creative shows. Each of these shows has a certain something that makes them great but what's your favorite?

My Kanye Moment with the Amsterdam News

ok guys. I'm a nice person right?
I thought so.
I wouldn't twist anybody elses words.
So please tell me why somebody changed my words around for an article I was in with the Amsterdamn news. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it was someone with the newspaper. The interview was done in a way where it could have been changed by a number of people before it got to the newspaper. Either way, whoever it was F***'d up.
This article quotes me saying even though my music is my heart that college is what come first.... LOL. now althought college and my education is important to me, nothing is more important than my music besides god. College is my backup plan. Now don't get me wrong kids. I'm not downplaying college. I'm going regardless. I just have a problem with being misquoted.
The article also went on to say something about my "old school flow".... LMAO. I found that funny because I never said anything about having an old school flow and last time I checked.... I never had an old school flow. I do, however, have a High-top fade... but I wonder what lead them to believe I have an "old school flow". Isn't that prejudism? Anybody who knows me knows there aint nothin old school about this flow. You gotta think about the future to even understand it. [sentence deleted as not to discourage inferior rappers(all of them)].
They said I make positive music. I'm not Common. I make music that I feel like making and express my point of view. Don't ever box me in. I have happier songs but because I'm REAL I also have some of the darkest songs ever made.
Did I mention that they spelled my name wrong? SMH. My last name is George-Perreira... not
GEORGE PARERRA.

The Article also says that I said:
"I also
believe rappers don’t need
notebooks filled with their creations
because no one’s talent
should be hidden."
I never said that. That doesn't even seem to make sense to me. I have a bunch of raps in shoeboxes that no one will ever hear. Not because I'm hiding them but because I outgrew them.... well this is getting long so...

So how do you guys feel about that?

Kanye vs. Ne-Yo

So I know we've all seen Keri Hilsons new video featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo. Well, in the video Yeezy and Ne-Yo appear to be about to ingage in an altercation. Being the person that I am I naturally questioned who would win in an actual fight. Of course this would be the homoest fight ever (a lot of hands slapping and arms flailing), but because of their status it would be interesting to watch. They've both had beef with actual tough guys. Ne-Yo got beat up by the bird gang crew & Kanye was not afraid of 50 cent. Personally I think Ne-Yo would win. I know that your thinking I'm crazy, but there is a method to my madness. Ne-Yo's got his ass kicked before. Plus i'm pretty sure that Kanye's new "crew" is not making him tougher... but that's just my opinion. What do you think?

Meeting Sadat X

Hello World, your favorite cartton character, Capital Ode, here. It's been a while since I've really blogged and I'm sorry for the wait but here I am. Well, recently I had the honor of meeting Sadat X from Brand Nubian (a pioneering group in the art of HipHop). He made an appearance at my high school in Brooklyn to meet the talented young artists of our student body. Before hand I was only told that someone from "the business" would be attending our after school meeting. Honestly, I was expecting somebody that nobody would have heard of so in the end I was quite suprised. However, it had been a while since I had really been listening to Brand Nubian like that so when I saw Sadat X in my school cafeteria I wasn't absolutely sure of his identity. Don't get me wrong. As soon as i stepped in the cafeteria I knew I knew him but I couldn't put my finger on who he was exactly. I told my fellow class-mates I believed he was from Brand Nubian however I wasn't going to approach him for fear that I had mistaken his identity.Needless to say I was a tad star-struck when he introduced himslf to the group of us (so much so, I found it hard to ask him questions). He explained to us just how shady the business can be and told us of some of his up-coming ventures. He even introduced us to his artist, Twan Ranks (of the Boot Camp Clik).ok. So here's my favorite part. We usually take part in ciphers at my school during lunch in that very cafeteria. So I had to ask Sadat X and Twan Ranks if they would take part in a cipher with me and the fellow MC's in the meeting (Lady Ma, P'D Reese, & H-Dot with Dyno D on the beat[lunch table] and Kwasie taping the whole thing). I was really suprised when he said yes. It was great. The video was up on Youtube, but unfortunately due to regulations at the school the video had to be taken down. Well, at least I have the memory...
