After receiving three 2010 Grammy Nominations just weeks ago, Entertainment Weekly has named Kid Cudi’s debut album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day” the best Hip-Hop album of 2009 in their annual recap issue. They also listed Cudi as one of the 2009 breakout music stars saying “It’s been quite a year for new talent”.
On a related note, People Magazine also named Man on the Moon as one of the Top 10 albums of 2009.
